Website update

Friday, December 28th, 2007

Merry Christmas! We got you a new website! We’re not 100% done with the new look of our site, but we’re getting close! The point of all these changes is to move our site into modern technology, allowing for easier updates and the groundwork for our new catalog engine. The plans have been laid and we’re looking forward to having much more information available in the catalog about the parts we sell!

New site design!

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

We’ve been working all hours getting the new management system to work. We’re starting to use proper tools for running the site, which will make updates and adding new products easier. Unfortunately, there is a nearly infinite amount of work going on in the background to build up the infrastructure of what you see in the presentation. So it looks like "nothing at all" is going on, when there is actually a flurry of code writing. :)

Our servers moved…

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

If you’re having problems with the site, it’s because our servers just moved. We relocated to an improved facility. If you have any problems with the order process, please e-mail us with your phone number and we’ll call you. Thanks! Chris

Computer "upgrades" under way…

Saturday, January 14th, 2006

To chase the ever moving target of “upgrading and improving”, we have upgraded our accounting software (And its supporting apps) to the latest versions. This only “broke” everything twice and consumed about 10 or 20 hours of time, so I guess it could have been worse. Thanks for checking in on us! :)

New year kicks off but with a hiccup…

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

As the new year started, we kicked into high gear getting caught up on projects and shipping orders out the door. We have implemented a system to make use of barcodes to speed the invoicing process and it is having excellent results.

Unfortunately, someone has decided to burglarize my trailer and van that I keep at work. The trailer has been broken into a few times before, so it was empty. The van was mostly empty. It had a wheel chock, a plastic tub with 12 or so tiedowns in it, and an invertor. They broke out the rear window and took the tray and invertor but left the chock. Well, there’s something that could have been worse.

Happy New Year!!!

Sunday, January 1st, 2006

Cycleworks wishes everyone a Happy New Year! Have a great evening, but take a cab to keep the crazies away from your Ducati!! :-)

Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 23rd, 2005

This week has been heavy with work getting orders out and setting up more vendor accounts. Friday before Christmas, we’re headed up to LA to get a couple of Monsters for R&D. Saturday should be a ride to Palomar, then we’ll be around a little Monday, but UPS is closed, so no shipping.

Closed Friday to enter the Monster Challenge

Friday, December 9th, 2005

Sorry for any inconvenience, but we’re closed Friday to attend the Cycle World bike show in Long Beach, CA. Thanks and maybe see you up there!!!
