11/9 Thursday closure

Thursday, November 9th, 2006

We’re making another vendor / LA trip Thursday, so we’ll suspend shipping. We’re going up to review progress on our next special project. Then, we’ll drop in on the exhaust folks to see their latest work.

E-mails lost or wrong…

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

Be sure when e-mailing Cycleworks that your spam guard lets us in. This especially applies to EarthLink accounts. Also, please consider that e-mail is not always the most reliable form of communication. There are delays, bad addresses, aggressive spam filters, and inboxes overrun with spam (so the desired content is overlooked).

If the correspondence is urgent or if you think we're waiting too long to respond, please call us at 619/501-2466.

Closed Monday for Track Day

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

We'll be closed Monday as the crew is headed to the “Ducati” track day at Fontana! Thanks to everyone who came and made our “Pizza Tech” talk so great! :)

Pizza Tech - 10/14 @ 3pm!

Wednesday, October 11th, 2006

Cycleworks is hosting another Pizza Tech event this Saturday. The topic is Philosophy of Modifications. This is a candid talk about the aftermarket parts, their industry, as well as the “why's” and “why nots”. California Cycleworks' propreitor Chris Kelley has over 10 years experience “Behind the counter” and over 20 years experience tinkering and modifying motorcycles. Come for this unique insight into the motorcycle industry. Complimentary pizza and sodas served.

Closed today for vendor visit

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

We're closed today (Tuesday) to visit with our SS Exhaust maker in LA.

New year kicks off but with a hiccup…

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

As the new year started, we kicked into high gear getting caught up on projects and shipping orders out the door. We have implemented a system to make use of barcodes to speed the invoicing process and it is having excellent results.

Unfortunately, someone has decided to burglarize my trailer and van that I keep at work. The trailer has been broken into a few times before, so it was empty. The van was mostly empty. It had a wheel chock, a plastic tub with 12 or so tiedowns in it, and an invertor. They broke out the rear window and took the tray and invertor but left the chock. Well, there’s something that could have been worse.

Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 23rd, 2005

This week has been heavy with work getting orders out and setting up more vendor accounts. Friday before Christmas, we’re headed up to LA to get a couple of Monsters for R&D. Saturday should be a ride to Palomar, then we’ll be around a little Monday, but UPS is closed, so no shipping.

Hard work

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

The past two weekends with their shows has worn me out a little, so I’m winding down a little bit. :) Putting my S2R in the Monster Challenge was good for some fun and a nice meal afterwards. I’m caught up on the e-mails over the past couple weeks, so if yours went unanswered, please call or ping me again. Thanks!
